The brand
The Kappa brand was created in 1967, from the sock company "Calzificio Torinese". Its logo will be created 2 years later during a photo shoot. Kappa is involved in sport, it is the first in Italy to sponsor a football team. Since then, Kappa has become the official equipment supplier of many teams: Naples, Wolfsburg, Toulouse, Bastia for football. It is also active in the Top 14 with Racing Métro, Bayonnais rowing and the Bordeaux-Bègle union.
